Mission
Toward 2030
To achieve the Japanese government’s goal of reducing global warming gas emissions by 46% from the FY2013 level by FY2030 and becoming virtually zero (carbon-neutral) by 2050, it is necessary to rapidly decarbonize the electricity sector, which emits the highest amount of global warming gases. In addition, the Basic Energy Plan proposes to increase the share of power generation from renewable energies from 17% in 2018 to 36-38% in 2030. To realize this, what we can do now is to approach various fields with innovative ideas, build a recycling-oriented partnership with creativity to create new values, and concretely promote decarbonization. YUFUKUYA Energy will continue to challenge increasing the ratio of power generation from renewable energy sources by implementing technical measures to lower the cost of renewable energy, building a business model that does not rely on the FIT system, and promoting investment in the renewable energy sector.
